And we are telling you that the extra pair of 6x9s are useless. Sell them, and buy a quality set of 6.5" components for your rear deck.

Paying someone to install parts and bragging about it being fast, is like watching someone bang your wife and being proud to raise their kids.

alright.... so i guess now i ask why..... i know how to hook up what i have in there now. but it's the adding two more speakers part that throughs me off on what to do, or how to go about it amp wize. so why the 6.5 over the 6x9's then

do you want good sound or just a bunch of noise makers that get high school boys giddy?

6.5 comps up front, you already have the sub in the back, done; thats it. no rears, no oval speakers, no 6x9s.

yea any pair of mid grade 6.5 comps are only like $100-$150 and they will sound a million times better then any 6x9 out there

You would need the other amp hooked up too.

Not to thread jack but what do you guys recommend as far as 6.5 components? the ones that come with tweeters and a little amp? or just buy the 6.5 comps and buy the amp separate?.........ebay has a set of JL audio 200w comps for $150. are this good?

not to be rude but if you think the crossover is a little amp you should do a little more research on speakers before you buy any.
for me i like infinities but i would hear rainbows are really good never herd them before tho and cant afford them lol

^^^No problem im here to learn, i did some research yesterday and yes the one i tough was a little amp its actually a crossover like you said whch means i still have to buy an amp to power the component speakers and tweeters. i also found some really good brands like Image dymanics, focal, rainbow, dynaudio etc.. but cost too much, i think i'll jus go with infinity or polk audio.
