Hey I have 2 12'' subwoofers and i currently have a small sealed box that came from ebay and I want to build or buy a ported box that will make my subs sound louder. I tryed various box calculaters but I dont know how to use them proper. Could use some help or even some box dimensions. Thinking of it tuned to 32 hertz

do you plan to use that sealed box, or build a whole new one? If you plan to build one, how much room can you afford to loose? we need length, width and height you can loose.
what brand subs are they should be the starting point...
more importantly, the model of the subs....
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
Liquor is not a drug John, liquor is not a drug.

If you design the right box, any sub can sound good. I am an installer and we got board one day and wondered what results we could get out of crappy subs,so we designed a box and picked up some pyle red label 12s for 32$ lmao. So we built and the finished product hit a 148.4 with 1500 clamped in a small civic! Also we did a sq setup and competed with an entire planet audio system, other that h.u. Bb1350.1 amp and 1 bb212 with 2 sets of bb65pro components...it actually sounded good! We won out the novice class with that setup...moral to this long story is if you do it right you can make them jackhammers sound great.just listen to these guys advice...
Ps are you wanting to know the legth of each sheet you rip? Like since you don't understand building calc's?
Most common box I've built
3/4 mdf "l" slot port down center... Dual 12s
18.25"h x 36"w x 16.25"d that box is right at the tone you will love!
Is there a diagram I can use for the port and the dimensions
