Ok, so I installed this alpine 9886 and everything worked fine for a couple weeks. but now I started having problems starting my car. My main problem is that now since I started having trouble starting my car, my head unit is acting funny. When i put the keys in the ignition and turn on the battery, not the engine, the head unit will usually come on and work fine(but even now sometimes it doesn't come on). However, when I turn the engine on(esp when its hard to start) the HU goes to the start up screen, then just shuts off. sometimes now it doesnt even go through the start up, it just does not come on. I have no idea if the car having a hard time starting is related to the non functioning of my HU, but seeing as how they both started happening around the same time, I figure they might be related. not sure if its the HU seeing as how it works fine when the car battery is on, or something in my ignition system? and just for informations sake, i have been running an alpine mrp-m1000 amp to two alpint type r subs. so i help someone on here can give me some pointers. thanks

sounds like a voltage issue on start up. Whats your voltage with the car running?
