Okay, here's the situation. I'm bridging a 4 channel Eclipse amp. It's actually a 2/3/4 channel amp and has a switch to select what you are using it for. The problem I have is that I am only getting sound from one bridged channel. There is no sound from the other bridged channel. The amp has 2 RCA inputs. If I swap the RCA's, then the other bridged channel works. Is it standard to have to get Y adapters and hook up both RCA inputs for it to work? I thought by switching it to 2 channel mode, that it would copy the signal from the one set of RCA inputs.....

what type of rca's did you get cuz i actually had this exact problem with mine i replaced the whole set of rca's ( Bought the stinger elite directionals ELI317 they were cheap for me
) and it would do the exact thing that you described i was so frustrated so i actually just switched negative and positive on the amp and now they all work i don't know how it worked because it doesn't make sense...
So ones side goes in the supposed positive and negative the other end is switched (vice versa)... so i don't know
Hope that makes sense kind of..
Yeah....don't do this:

Get another set, or even a 4 channel set and run them correctly. Bridging, while only using 2 speaker terminals, still is using both the front and rear outputs of the amp. Run 2 sets of RCA's(or a 4 channel set), get the full available signal to your amp, and get the full power potential out of it. DO NOT just split the left and right from a single set of 2 channel RCA's when bridging the amp.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Try using the left inputs on the amp only.
A(left) ->(left from deck)
B(left)->(right from deck)
Then turn the 2/3/4 switch to 2.
