My blinkers have been acting weird on my lately. Whenever I turn on my signal (doesnt matter which side, even hazards), they will blink normal for about 10 sec, sometimes a little less, and then the interior signal and my exterior signals will stay solid. They will stay on but not blinking, just solid light. Im thinking its the switch on the steering column but not 100% sure.
What do you guys think it could be?
Make sure your hazard light switch isn't like half-way on. That hazard switch makes weird things happen.
I can switch my hazards on and off numorous times, and it doesn't seem to make a differece. Maybe bad relays to the blinkers? Not sure if Jbodys have one for both or one for each side tho.. But I will check my hazard switch tomorrow to be on the safe side..
Cheapest flasher I can find was $11 or so at RockAuto. Anywhere else that's cheaper?
Also, where is the flasher located on a 2200?

Junkyard or spend the whopping 11 bucks. If you think that's a lot, you better sell your car right this very second and walk. Wait, a good pair of sneakers are probably 60 bucks. Have your mom drive you everywhere.
Your car may do 13 sec @ 103 mph, but my car does 146db @ 35 hz.

lol im not saying its expensive. Im basicly asking where he saw it for $5.
Want to know expensive? I just resently bought my new summer car, a 300ZX and parts for that are EXPENSIVE and alot more rare to come by. Try $300 for an upper control arm and $200 for a USED cargo cover.
Now back to my main question, where is the flasher located?
I bought an LED flasher at canadian tire for i think 25 bucks
the flasher is underneath the dash people say above the brake pedal (column) its bright green but mine was waaaayyy up closer to the far left side of the steering wheel its usually electrical taped to something EP27 flasher (you can use it for reg bulbs too) just in case you want to eventually get LED bulbs
P.s. also make sure all the bulbs are the correct bulbs in your tail lights (3157) cuz i put a 3057 just to get to the store to buy more bulbs and it flashed a couple times then stayed on like you said

Thank you, I appreciate it!
Advance auto got me a new combo switch for less than $60.
OK im waking this up from the dead.
Did you fix the problem?
Ive searched around and all the post about non working blinkers never post WTF they did to fix the problem.
My wifes cavy blinkers are not working.
The blinker works the hazards just fine so Im assuming thats not my problem. Does that lead me right to the switch on column?
U would need to get a wiring diagram and have some knowledge of how that system works. I can get you a diagram if u cant . I would assume if u have the knowledge to fix it u could get the diagram though.
Personally i could figure it out in 10 minutes with a diagram and my power probe 3 , but thats the kind of stuff i do for a living, lol.
Hmmmmmm cant give myself that much credit then. I replaced the blinker flasher and the combo switch and still the same. Im stumped now.
I could use the diagram and maybe find someone who knows what they are doing.
Mine used to do the same thing before I sold it. Would flash for a couple seconds then stay lit. Didn't happen all the time, just at random (Usually when there was a cop behind me..)
Anyway, I think I read something where it might be a relay switch in the steering colum. Replacing bulbs didn't work so I assume that's what the problem was.
Junkyard is your best friend.
