I bought a 97 sunfire last week knowing it was in a accident, everything was fixed and it looked ok. but the right side headlight didnt work, i just thought it was a bulb, when i got the car home i noticed the fuse for the Right Headlight was missing, i found out that the previous owner jumped the headlight with a wire, there is a wire going from the middle blue wire from the left bulb to the right bulb (middle wire orange) even with this jump, the right bulb does not work., is there any way to fix this, jump it properly? or how to test the relay. please help me out,
i would definately take that orange wire out of the left bulb. put a new fuse for the right bulb. get a new right bulb. is the wiring harness still there for the right bulb? is it missing a wire or two? if thats the case, just get a new wiring harness for it on eBay and a bulb. but i would definately take that orange wire out.

Get a multimeter and begin to test in a process of elimination. Make sure you have power going there first that it isn't a faulty or bad bulb. Check the fuse holder in the Right headlamp slot, Then check your relay using the same meter to see exactly what is going on.
