I put my battery in my trunk last month and for the past month every time i start my car the radio will reset the time to 12:00pm. Also ether the cd thats in it will stay on the track i was on and continue to play or reset to number 1 or reset to the beginning of the track. Now i know its not a big deal to change the time every time or just not to but some times it pisses me off.
Also all the wires i moved are secure and theres no problem starting up.

Sounds like your constant power isnt hooked up to the radio. Thats what makes the head store time etc.

Usually its the yellow wire or the one thats fused.

yea there a memory wire (iirc) on head units that need constant power.
