Looking at a New Head Unit
Thursday, August 27, 2009 1:53 PM
In keeping with the trend of asking about head units, I need a new one. The volume knob on my current one stopped working while the volume was all the way up just to make it better. Im looking at this one. I like my Pioneer but I want something with more audio control. I like that I can turn off the internal amp and the 7 band equalizer. I looked at some new Alpines but they seem to run like $70 more for a similar unit. I refuse to use JVC but Im open to other suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Alpine CDA-9886 on special on Crutchfield is tempting me.

Just got it today. I loves it. All Ive had time to do is turn off Power IC and it still sounds awesome. iPod interface is very nice and the screen is very clear and I like the display options.

Dustin, you got it right
