So I just dropped the new engine in. Well I wired SOMETHING wrong, The Alt is not charging....

Anyone have a CLEAR diagram or Pic of the Wiring on a 2.4 Quad?

What I have:

Batt+ -to- Starter Large Stud -to- Altenator Large Stud

All Black Grounds Grounded
Alt Plug Plugged in

I have a Large Relay box with 2 Red Wires and 2 other wires in it. This is where the Trouble is.

OEM, there is one wire going from the alt. it connects to a relay under the throttle body. Two wires come from this, one to the starter, one to the positive terminal on the battery. My setup works great, here's how I have it done:

RELAY

Ahh, After doing some baisc thought I figured it out, Its not in my Power Wiring, I think I just have some really **** Grounds. Going to Fab up a "Big 3" this week when I can pick up the connectors.

Wiring turned out fine. Alt was bad....

New alt, and everything is good!
