resistor / multimeter Q?
Tuesday, January 13, 2009 2:45 PM
I'm Trying to Figure out the resistance using my multimeter I can only get it to read on the 20M setting and it reads about 14.4....
I have no idea what the 20M means.

14.4 Million Ohms is a lot of resistance, regardless of what you're testing. Make sure the tester has fresh batteries, as that can really mess up resistance readings.

Are you touching the leads as you measure? The resistor might be open and the resistance could be your skin.
