IMMEDIATE HELP NEEDED!!! Window Module not working...Window Stuck Down!! *SNOWING*

Just as title reads...My window module is not working...Driver window will only go down. Up does not work. I need to know which connections to bridge to roll up the driver window...this is urgent and there is no time for searching because it is snowing out and getting in my car. Does anyone know off the top of your head which wires to connections to bridge on the plug that goes into the window switch module?

According to the Haynes manual, if you short the Dk Blue and Brown wires at the switch it will go up. Have fun with that, and btw, your switch is bad if this is what's happening.

Ok, well you have two more options for an immediate fix:

1) pull of your door panel and push the track up by hand
2) pull off your door panel, unplug your window motor and switch the wires on it (or unplug them and jump them in reverse), then press the down button.

take off your door panel, find the window motor. Then jump the twp wires with a battery and it should go up...

I've seen this happen with my ex's old Z. It was the switch that was messing up. I had to pop off the top cover cause the switch wasn't hitting the connection at the bottom to go up. We always tend to push harder for the windows to go down instead of going up. Don't ask why, but it just seems that way with all the switchs I've seen go bad. If that doesn't work just get a test light and find power and jump them with some needle nose till you find the right one..

if you need to get your window up ASAP without actually finding out what the problem is, do this:
take out your window switch and undo the connector. your power wire is brown, terminal H on the connector. your ground is black, terminal G. use 2 jumper wires to go from those two wires to the wires that run your driver's window. that would be a dark blue wire, pin E, and another brown wire, pin A. if you jump H to E and G to A and the window doesnt move, change it around so that H goes to pin A and and G goes to pin E. one of those two configurations will cause the window to go up, the other will cause it to go down. sounds like a bad switch to me though, like lnhiv and trey said.

Get a garbage bag (one of those big suckers) and put it on the door, then close the door. Problem temporarily fixed until it stops snowing.

Thank you Noah...H to E and G to A made the driver window go up! Thanks very much for your help! For anyone who may have this problem in the future, and find this post the terminals A - H that he is referring to are marked on the white plastic piece of the plug that connects to your window switches.

Also, a new switch does not cost a couple hundred bucks...you can pick one up at the junkyard for $20-40

SEC-Z...you don't happen to have a second switch to sell? Just today i got the same exact problem (my driver's side window switch was sticky for awhile and I think it got stuck in down mode and burned out.) and I also live in the Twin Cities (Apple Valley to be exact.) or if you have any suggestions on good junk yards in the Twin Cities that have a lot of Sunfire parts i would greatly appreciate it...
