hey everyone. i currently have a lil sound system goin on, but nothing special. i have a clarion DXZ865MP deck, 500watt bazooka amp, and 2 10" kicker cvr's in a ported box. my question is this should i just buy one big amp( around 1500) or should i buy another 500watt bazooka and bridge it? also what are some suggestions on speakers for the front and back?i dont need anything too special, just better that stock. keep in mind that i'm a teenage and i have a limited cash supply

I would suggest buying a good 2 channel amp that will push both subs at 4 ohms. If they are rated at 750 rms a piece, then yes, I would suggest 1 1500 watt amp over 2 500 watt amps. You could go with a 1500 watt 2 ohm amp, but it will only put more stress on your wiring system. Also, if you are going to go that high high in watt's, I would suggest a capacitor to go with it.

98z24, lowered 2", aem intake, cat-back striaght pipes!, cop lighs in the front and rear lights, 18" liquid metal's, primer black, tint, full audio and video.

kicker suggests their ZX750.1 for those subs, thats the one I would get. 1500rms is overkill for those subs, I'd run 1000rms to those at max. With that said, buy any reputable (that being the key word) amp that is 750-1000rms. do it right or do it twice

Everything you've said is wrong. Please don't speak again.

your forgetting that he has two of these subs, in which case the 1500.1 would actually be a good chose, assuming that his subs are dual 2 ohm.

no, kicker recommends a 750.1 for TWO CVRs. Kicker CVRs are rated at 400rms each.

750 would be about right. A 1500.1 is ungodly overkill and the mystery smoke gods will appear.

not to mention kicker under rates their amps. I used to be a kicker dealer and never saw a 750.1 that was rated under 900. A 1500 would be rated at like 1600-1700ish
