can someone give me the steps to adding a 2nd battery in the trunk that the amp for the subs will use? i dont want to start my car on fire or something of that matter. Thanks

I'm just curious how you keep the second battery charged. I figure you probably have to run wires and whatnot from the front, but I'm just not sure.

run a 0 gauge wire with fuse from your stock battery to the trunk and connect it to the positive on the new battery. conncet the amps to the positive. ground amps and battery to bare metal on body. done!
probably should upgrade the alternator so it can handle charging both batteries tho

so wont that make it a 24 volt system instead of 12? i thought that you needed a relay or something.

no, the batterys would be wired parallel to each other so it would only be 12 volt. if they were wired in series it would be 24 volt

make sure you fuse BOTH ends of your battery wire.
