dont do the dual units, most will only read cd's or dvd up to only 200 songs, but other than that they were ok and had ok control of highs and lows in Hz and such. and i only had it for a year and it only go stuck once but pushin the reset button fixed it.

look on ebay for innovatek if u want really cheap but i dont know how good they are u can also find them here http://www.mp3playerstore.com/

i would go with the valor or the jensen. ive heard good things about valor and jensen flipouts and only bad things about the rest.

"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin

^^JBO is about not being that guy

you're obviously not too concerned with quality, so put the numbers on a piece of paper, and draw one out of a hat.

But seriously, I've sold 'entry level' in-dash monitors. Some were ones you listed. They're more than cheap, and I dont care if someone says they have one and its great, they got a factory freak. I've seen more of those cheap in-dash monitors come back defective, or be defective right out of the box than not. If you honestly dont care about quality enough to pay a little more, than what difference does it really make when buying cheap radios? Trust me when I say to save up and get a pioneer or something. Its going to be nicer and last longer.

What he said. At least spend a little more and get the lower end Pioneer one. It's on sale for $385 on Amazon.

i do care about quality i was just wondering if you could get any kind of quality out of the ones i listed. i dont want junk in my car. if they are gonna be bad ill just stick with my alpine head unit. and i am also thinking about doing a in dash lapto like cut up my glove box and put sliders in there so i can flip down the glove box and slide out the laptop that way thousands of songs/videos right at my fingertips.

all of those units are cheap for a reason, pyle is well crap, valor make decent monitors i dont know about there in dash units, dual is a sub company of jensen which we dropped at bbuy b/c its so god awful horrible and jensen well jensen is jensen and they sell it at walmart. If i were you id save up an extra $200 and invest into a pioneer or kenwood, you have to realize that indash dvd players have several more components than a cd player if one thing fries or stops working it usually cost more to fix the unit than the units worth. Not to mention if you have a touch screen and it being a flip out that screen opens and closes everytime you get in and out of your car. Just some food for thought good luck though

This is my DVD player... DUAL XDVD8183

I have had not one problem with this DVD player and has a lot of options as you can read on the page. Cost a little bit more but it is a very very nice product.
