Does anyone have any idea what the stock speakers in my 1999 Sunfire are rated at? I've already searched and haven't found much.
probably like 2o watts. they suck

Ya well they take it from my Pioneer head pretty well 50x4 wattage and its set 80% to the back so most of the power is going to the 6x9s and they're still intact. For now.

your HU puts out something like 18x4 rms. so each speaker is getting 18 watts. fading the sound to the rear does not make the rear speakers get more power.
