Weird, no 12V constant at radio harness....

Ok, this is on my 96 cavalier. I just installed my new pioneer p6000ub the other day and ran into some issues, well, one issue really.

My previous head unit was a cheap Sony Xplode model and the way it had been wired before it worked with no problems (all wires had been spliced by previous owner). Well, I pull the old Xplode out and noted how everything was wired in and referenced it to the 12volt.com just to be sure. I should mention that I did not unplug the battery before removing the wires.

Seeing that everything was good I proceed to wire in the Pioneer and get it all done up nice. I turn to the accessory "on" position and not a damn thing. I start to think, huh, maybe i wired something wrong so I went and grabbed my digital multi-meter and start probing only to find that my orange/black 12V constant wire is dead....no voltage what -so-ever. I run through all the fuses under the hood and in the side dash and nothing is blown...wtf?? I also notice that my dome light now does not come on. I don't know how, but these are connected somewhere/somehow.

For the meantime, I ran a wire from the fuse panel to my radio for my constant power but I would like to figure out why the orange/black wire and dome light are getting no constant power. Can anyone help shed any light on this subject (no pun intended! lol)? Is there an inline fuse somewhere that I don't know of, a extra fuse panel, etc....??

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Jason

Check the RDO/INT fuse in the side panel, its the radio and interior lights fuse.
