HID relay harness
Wednesday, May 21, 2008 10:42 AM
i've been searchin the web for days now on how to make 2 seprate HID relay harness for an H11 bulb kit. i've got everythin to do my retro fit but the harness and im way over budget so i wanna make one instead and save some money. all the instruction i've found are for bi-xenon kits and they use diodes so im not sure if i would need diods for the h11's. i just need a parts list and diagram would really help.

well simple relay connections are as follows

87 - fused 12 volts
86 - head light wire...(if i remember correctly i think our head lights work off a negative so this should be the - switch wire)
85- 12 volts (only if it is a negative switch)
30 - to the hid positive

of course the hid needs ground, if it is positive swith and not negative switch then wire as follows

87 - fused 12 volts
86 - head light wire
85 - ground
30 - hid positive....
