I have a question about batteries for our cars. At the moment I have a bad battery in the car. The old one is an Everstart MAXX 12 volt battery Part Number: MAXX-75N (825 CA, 690 CCA). My wife purchased another battery for me today, while I was at work. She bought an Everstart 12 volt battery Part Number: 75-3N (720 CA, 600 CCA). I am wondering if I can go ahead and use the new battery or should I wait until I get the right one. I am not even sure if it is the wrong one. I am not familiar with battery designations such as the "-3N" on the new battery. I know that the "75" is the group size, which is to determine if it will fit the car. I measured both batteries and each measured approximately 9"LX6.5"WX7.25"H. I have tried my luck about cross referencing the two batteries and their differences (other than cranking capabilities) and I came up with only knowing that everstart-batteries.com doesn't work and that their office number is 1-888-387-8278 (which is closed at the moment). I hope to hear good news about the purchase.

They're both from walmart, the Maxx is just longer warranteed and has higher cold cranking amps...either will do fine
exactly. group size and adequate cranking amps are al that are required when looking at a battery. you'll be fine.
car audio noob since 1984.
Awesome. Then I will stick with this until it dies. Thanks for the input.
