Hi i do not know if i am in the good section but i think i am. Welle my project is to add a cruise control to my 97 2.2 sunfire. I have looked a the wiring diagrams in the mitchell for various gm cars. Well the conections on many cars seam to be the same so my first question is: Is any cruise control module from any gm car gooing to do the trick if so from wich year to wich year? My other question is about wiring: Are the wires for cruise inhibit and cruise status already wired to the pcm? And are the wires for the switch already passed just like for power mirors? Then my last question is about the pcm it self: Is cruise control function already activated or does i need to make it activate by a gm dealer?

I can post the wiring diagram if it would help.

to my knowledge all sunfires come wired for power mirrors. to check, pull off your door panels
