ok so i have see people do the 6.5" swap in the front speakers well i was wondering i found a pre made 4x6 to 6.5" and was wondering how much room there is between the speaker and the door panel????
O and was doing some thinging and was wondering if you could put 6x8's up front for better bass instead of 6.5"????
if you want some better bass use dynamat in your doors to get a lil more "bass" from your speakers.....but you should probably just get a sub..... but i dont think a 6x8 will fit in the door with out some cutting....
Behind its less than 2 1/2, maybe 2 1/4.... its not much. In front Im not sure, but i cant see it being more than 1 1/2 inches.

Do a 6 1/2 up front. Round speakers > oval speakers every day. They'll give you good mid-bass, and if you want more bass, add a sub.
