I was looking at a 3,500 watt boss blade mono class d amplifier to run 2 15" L7's but I didn't know if that would be ne good for them or just enough or what... a lil help please

NO, the reason why - Typically in Car Audio you get what you pay for.

Example - your 3,500watt Boss amp retails for less then $500 let's say (just guessing)

So $500/3,500 = 0.14cents per watt give or take a penny

My JL Audio 1000/1 retails for about $1,000

So $1 a watt of clean power.

This IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!!!!

Which amp would you say has better, cleaner power? And which one would you think would be more reliable?

This example is not %100 You have to go by it, I'm just trying to show you the quality vs. what you are spending.

The Boss amp would be lucky to produce 500 watts of CLEAN UNCLIPPED power.

Keep shopping.

Boss, is low junk. Also we cant help you unless your list what coil config your subs are. Like the above poster said, you get what you pay for.

God you seriously do wanna blow your skull apart!!! Cant quite remeber the model, but I know kicker makes the perfect amp for the Solo's. The rule I usually go by (and i havent blown anything yet!!) Is take the RMS wattage of the subs, and add 150-200 watts more and that should give u a decent setup. So if the L7 15's are rated for examples sake- 1500 watts RMS per sub, You'd want ATLEAST a clean 3000watts of power MINIMUM. I'd personally suggest bumpin up the amp wattage as i said above. But just let me warn you that you're goin to need a @!#$LOAD of power to really pound those things! Oh and if you get tired of them let me know. Ive always thought itd be fun to blow my balls off with a pair of l7's!

A friend of my is running the kicker zx 2500.1 with his two L7's and it pounds. I'm running the same amp for my four 12's but our stock alts. have a hard time giving the amp the power it needs.

I suggest something better then a the BXI line by Hfonics. There XX line is nice stuff, but there lower line stuff isnt that great. You can get ZX2500.1's off ebay refurbed cheap. Can also look into the Crossfire VR2000D or a pair of Sundown SAE-1000D's strapped. If they were dual 4's, it be a bit easier to recommend more amps.
