i also have a scorche capacitor and a scorch wiring kit.. So basicly i was just wondering if this would sound alright for my DD.. i'm not looking for anything that is competition worthy but something that i will def feel hit my chest when i turn up the volume you know? i also plan on changing all of my door speakers with kicker speakers and maybe getting a small amp to power the speakers.. i'd really like some input and a point in the right direction because i've only owned trucks and cheap walmart subwoofers.. like jensens and and old school MTX blue thunders.. so will this sound a lot better than my previous setups and any help on a small amp and direction would be great! i know a lot of people like to give inputs on whats better brands to have.. I'm just trying to know if what i got as of now will sound good to me and will hit decent! thanks a lot guys! Patrick

well its hard to say exactly what will sound good to you... what you got i think would be a fairly decent sounding system, like you said not competition worthy but it will obviously give you more bass then what you have with out the sub.... only way to know how it'll sound in your car is to put it in...
Yea the kicker L5's hit like a mofo the L7s are insane, I have two kicker comp 12" subs in mine ina veneted box that I built and a kicker 300.1 amp and the $hit hits HARD I was very surprised with the outcome of this setup, Your L5 should sound very good Im not firmiar with kenwood amps but you should be happy with that L5. Ive been using kicker for a long time and love there products

I hope it sounds better than my previous setups because they sucked! lol.. i heard a 10" L7 in a factory kicker box with a 600W amp in a jetta and it hit so hard.. loudest i've ever heard lol .. ( small town, not many systems around here! ) so i'm just hoping for a little more "umph" than previously!

to know if the amp will run alright with the sub.. if it will sound better than what i've had before and what kind of amp i should get to run my speakers off of.. i know basicly nothing about audio so i'm a newb.. just looking for a little help
