Hello, I had previously had a new head unit installed and they gave me the option of the 15$ harness or 100$ harness.. Of course being a little of a cheap ass, I went with the 15$ knowing that I would lose the chimes. But I also seemed to have lost the sound of music in my passenger door speaker... Is this because the chime comes from the passenger speaker so I lose everything or could this be a incorrect wiring job? Please some of you who have installed the 15$ harness let me know if you still get sound out of the passenger speaker.
thanks
it sonds like its miswired, you shouldnt lose sound from using the $15 saturn harness instead of the $100 t harness
"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin
^^JBO is about not being that guy
probably a wiring problem.
IF they are all stock speakers, i would venture to say they either wired the harness incorrectly, or did a piss poor job and one of the wires came loose
Where did you have it installed at? Did the speaker work when you left? Or did it not work at all after they finished?
Wherever you had the work done it, i would take it back and tell them about the problem, they should fix it for you free of charge if it was their fault.

Well, If anyone is from ohio, DO NOT go to Moving On Electronics... That is where i had my head unit installed due to lack of personal time and I wanted the unit in quick. They did to a piss poor job, somewhat cut up my dash to fit it in nd everything... Was a very unproffessional job and I let him know that after he charged me not 2 times but 3 times more than he had told me over the phone. The speaker did work before i took it there, and after about 2 hours of waiting impatiently for them to install the head unit, i noticed the speaker didnt work and I mention it to the jacka$$ at the place and he said "i didnt mess with the speakers... must be the cheaper harness.." I was already fed up with the @!#$ so i just paid him and left... I suppose I may have been gullible but I figured I would post to see if anyone had any suggestions? All the guy did at the shop was hook up the harness, put in the bracket and install the aftermarket head unit.... My subs, amp, and aftermarket interior speakers were all properly hooked up before i brought it there!.... Let me know what to check
thanks
You shouldn't have paid him.
ive used cheap harnesses and even made my own.
there is no connection.
even if it is miswired you should get SOME kind of sound.
