IMO they'll all sound like crap. You're better off spending that money on one GOOD sub in a box, ya know?
If you want something pre-fab like that, check out www.onlinecarstereo.com and see their "subwoofer enclosures"
everything is already set up for you, and they even have brands like MA, Kicker, etc.
pyle, pyramid are probably the worst brands I can think of when it comes to car audio. whats your budget? maybe consider some used equipment also
^how can you say those two are crap without saying dual is crap too?
In all honesty, those are very low-end pieces of mobile audio equipment. They'll sound ok to an untrained ear, so if you're not expecting to win any sound quality awards and you really don't want to spend much, then go for it. In my, and many others' opinions, you'll be MUCH better off spending a bit more for at least some middle quality, well-known brand name items, like Alpine Type-E or Type-S subs, Rockford Fosgate Punch series, and the like. Best Buy/Circuit City usually carry middle-of-the-line audio as far as quality goes, so maybe check out some of the stuff they have to offer. But anything you can buy at Wal-Mart or Autozone, etc. will generally be quite low quality. Just listen to some different speakers in stores and figure out what sounds best to you. Good luck,

i wouldnt even let someone pa me to put thse in my car
"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin
^^JBO is about not being that guy
Least expensive and good don't fit together bro. Get some low end kenwood or punch or kickers, a small amp, a box, and call it a day.
Anyone mind giving me a link to one that's reasonably priced with decent quality?
Much appreciated!
Thankyah!

x2. you would be amazed at the difference a good properly sized box will make in the SPL and SQ. I went from 1.8 cubic foot boxes that came with my subs, to a box i made that is 1.5 cu.ft., sounds 10x better and hits a lot harder.

your best bet is to go to another site, this thread can go on for pages, everyone here knows everything.
or have a talk with sndsgood, he is a good guy.
if he dosent , i have some good speaker box software that lets you desighn your own box.
90% of store bought boxes are mediocore or junk.

I went with one Resonant Engineering SE 12" and a 1.0 cu. sealed box. With an Xterminator amp and has been running strong for almost 3 years. Sounds amazing IMO, bass response and clarity is perfect when tuned up. One of my friends boasted about his "bargain" subs that "boomed" he said, they sounded so muddy that I couldn't stand it. He got in my car and was amazed I had only one sub doing the work.
An SE at the price today will be rough the price of one of those complete boxes you showed, unless you find a decent used one somewhere. But spend a little more and it will be defiantly worth it.
When it comes time for a new system I want go with two SX or pick up another SE and overhaul the entire system.
For my first system i went on ebay and found and entire rockford fosgate combo(sub, amp, insulated box) with a pioneer headunit for like 160. It was used but sounded great had it for 4 years in my car then gave it to my sister who still has it in hers and 7 years later hasnt lost anything.

You can pick up type r 12s for a very good price. my bang for the buck woofers are
the alpine type rs and kicker compvrs. both can be had dirt cheap
amps. look into hifonics brutus amps. Those are my banging on a budget gear choices.
