Two 12" Bazooka's in a sealed box with a 600watt Bazooka amp.
The enclosure says Bazooka on it, so I guess it was purchased pre-built?
It fits perfectly snug between my wheel wells in my trunk.
Her boyfriend hooked me up(early Christmas present).
They needed cash so I offered $100, and they took it.
I'm going to put up some pics tomorrow.
This Christmas is gonna be good!
My question is, I was always told that you shouldn't mount the amp on the sub box, is that true?
The current set up I have(my old amp) is rated for a 500watt amp.
Do I HAVE to upgrade all the wiring for a 600watt, or will I be okay with the current wiring?

What size wiring are you running? I have 4awg(waiting on 0awg) for my 1300watt amp.
I have mounted amps on the box for a long time, not currently, but in 3 of my setups. Mostly people say not to because of the vibration from the sub(s), and because usually people put them behind the box, between the box and the seatback, where the heat cant dissapate quickly.
Sounds like a good deal, hows it sound? and get the pics up!
I haven't hooked it up in my cavalier yet, but he had it set up in his caddy and let me hear it.
I'm really not sure what size wiring I have going... it came with the 500watt amp wiring kit I bought. I believe it was most likely 8 gauge?
Will it damage the subs if I positioned the subs facing the back of the seat?
If I set it up like that, the amp would be facing the inside of the trunk.
Its 730pm right now.. I gotta work tonight, but I'll have pics up tomorrow morning.

i love your sister too !
lol
congrats on the good deal!
I bought the Bazooka kit a year ago and was not impressed so It went with the mtx instead but facing the box/subs towards the trunk will be louder. If you don't like the rattle you'll end up getting,I suggest using Dynomat

Towards the seats wont hurt the subs, unless they slide close enough to hit it.

I would recommend 4awg for your setup, but im sure that 8awg would suffice. If anything I'd suggest running a 4awg ground, as a ground wire is supposed to be as short as possible, this way its less $$..
This could just be my thinking and completely wrong. lol
ha well actually I got a short piece of 4awg from work and that is my ground.
It plays fine with the 8awg, though I do plan on going with 4awg when I can(most likely Friday when I get payed).
I'm off to a meeting at work.. when I get out my friend is going to take pics.

sorry for the crappy pic, I was rushing
It is not currently hooked up, but I did have it playing earlier.
It sounds nice.
Really hits the bass good(for me)
Friday I'm going to upgrade the current wiring to 4awg.
And get all the wiring tucked away(right now it looks like a bird nest in my trunk)
not bad for $100 I think

Wow great deal for a 100$!!! It looks good too! Good idea to upgrade to 4 awg. The only suggestion I would have for you would be turn your box around so the subs face the trunk.
