OK , so i bought this cavalier and it came with a cd player, my cuzin told me that i had to cut the wires of the stereo so i could hook up my aftermarket player, none of the wires colours are the same so i can't match them up.what do i have to do now im really confused.

Ok, so i went out today adn bought the wiring harness for the car. the wires are still cut what do i do now? do i pull the wires out of the wiring harness and attach them to the radio or what.???

They make a male harness for your car. Either that goto a junkyard and cut out the harness from another car and hardwire it back up. Then there's a female harness that you would connect your new radio's harness to.

Reinstall the plug that you cut out of the car (if you even left enough wire to do so)
The plug you bought gets connected to the cd players wires, just match up the colors. Then plug this into your cars plug that you re-attached.
Lastly, beat your cousin.
