Toy
its pretty cool so far.
will meter between 30 and 135 db
has a max and min hold button too.
its nice and small and has a backlit display too, so i can mic at night.
all in all, its a nice little unit and will come in handy for stereo builds and setting up imaging.

I grabbed one of those at WalMart a few months back. I'm actually kind of suspicious about its accuracy. My unit doesn't seem to have much subtlety -- it likes to hover around "70db" regardless of whether there is dead silence, engine running, or talking going on. Ramp up the volume, and it sort of jumps around and occasionally shows a convincing reading.

It's as accurate as a butt dyno.

im not expecting it to replace a competition mic, but like i said, for setting up my staging and imaging, it will do just fine
