Well all I purchased a new amp and am waiting on it to arrive. It's a Hifonics BXI-2006D to run my pair of Cerwin vega vmx-12.4 subs. Does anyone know much about this amp, I have read that even though they say it's rated for 2000RMS@ 1ohm it doesn't put that out. I would be happy if it put out around 1500W. Just curious to see what peoples opinions are about it. I dont think it will be going in for a lil while till I get the money to run 0 gauge through the car. I dont want to run it on 4 gauge and cause it to get hot from not flowing enough current to it.

they are good amps. I did an expedition recently with 4 L7 12s and two BXI 1606s good solid amps.
I doubt that it will get hooked up for a while though since I have to get 0 guage and thats expensive

I have heard great things about their amps, not the best out there, but, it will get you to where you need to be.
I thought i wasn't going to put any audio in my new cav, but after a month of listening to stock speakers, i decided i wanted to break down and do some work. This week is the first week EVERYTHING is working together, and boy is it music to my ears.....errmmm....pun intended.
only bad thing about the amp. it was supposed to be a new and it's used. it's got wear marks on it and scratches and what not. So now I am trying to get some sort of partail refund on it.

where did you get it that it was sold new and was used.
bought it off of ebay, the sellar had 2 forsale supposedly and one was on amazon and was used the other was on ebay and was new.

Well the amp is bad or well atleast has issues, The RCA unputs seem to have a problem. I have to hold them for the subs to work. I also made a claim with paypal because the sellar wont return my e-mails or anything. Infact I just put my cerwins and box up forsale on craigslist.
