Ok, here goes. My Kicker ZX750.1 will not power on for the life of me. Fuses are OK including under the hood (circuit breaker), power and ground wires OK, RCAs and remote is OK but my damn amp won't turn on! Funny thing is I'll take it out and hook it up in my friends truck and it comes on fine, WTF?

Any suggestions that I might be overlooking?

Did you just install it for the first time or was it working and then quit?

I've had a couple of amps do that to be.

One of them was becasue of a bad ground, (the wire was fine, the problem was where I hooked it too)
The other one wasn't coming on because my remote turn on wire on my stereo harness wasn't putting out any juice (musta went bad).

I would try this first. It's easy and usually the problem.

If your ground wire is bolted to a good clean ground and you definatly have juice going to the amp... I would try jumping a wire between the remote turn on terminal and power terminal on the amp (with the power cable hooked up of course) and see if it comes on. It wont hurt the amp, and I've tested a few amps that way to find that the remote turn on wire was bad.
