Hey I`m instaling a new deck in a 2000 sunfire I know that I can just cut some wires and loose the door chimes and stuff but i was thinking of buying a wire harness instead has any ones used a Scosche GM2000 ?is it any good its the cheapest one I can find. Or shoud I spend more money and buy a Scosche DCGM09? let me know thx

I would shop around and just buy the metra harness that doesnt have the doorchime module personally, its like 15$ but are kind of hard to find because stereo shops would rather charge 50$ plus for the doorchime module.

i have used walmarts harness before on about 10 different cars never had a problem with then just make sure your connections are good
I have a peripheral module that I paid $80 but after looking at the one at walmart I wished I'd bought it to save a few $$$. Some people say don't worry about the door chimes but I don't know how many times it saved me b/c I left my lights on.
just get a saturn harness or a geo metro or a blazer
