so my friend blew her rear speaker in her 02 GT and its the stupid moonsoon stereo :banghead: is there a aftermarket replacement set that will match the ohms? what r the ohm settings for the moonsoon amp? shes not into anything crazy as its still the factory deck and all, she just wants something to replace the crackling speaker and im thinking a junkyard replacement might be the best bet unless there just a 4ohm setup in the back but i doubt it lol

if its a 2 ohm set up like most factory amplified systems then i would say go with infinity's....they are about 2.5 ohms and you can get a set of 6x9's for about 140...

there's an easy way to tell - when you have the deck off, check the other speaker with a multimeter set to ohms.

Any 4-wire J-body rear speaker will work. Sunfires with the Monsoon system, and Cavaliers and Sunfires with the "Premium Amplified" system (aka amped rear speakers) will have the same speakers...

They're $20 or so from the dealer, new.
