what he said in MD there is no way unlell you place 3ed and lower, but some place's yea. also what do they have where you live dbdrag, etc? i went to a show last week and took first with a 600 watt amp and 2 15's in the box i had my 12's in and got a 143.7 (sealed up at the dash).
that wasent a db drag event if it was i wouldn't even placed
im not sure what the competition is like because every time i hear about them its too late. i live in the boondocks of MN and the closest REAL town is Brainerd and every time i hear that there WAS a competition. but if any one knows of competitions in Brainerd MN you should let me know. and the videos on the site are not what the subs are pushin now i tuned my amp and made the box ported so it hits a bit harder.

you'll love the gothic series amp, i have a 1600 watt pushin 2 kicker comp vr's. with a 3 farad cap, i love the amp its great it takes a beating and comes back for more every day.
I loved my Gothic pushing 600w.......till it blew.
I had it pushing 2 kenwood 10's and it did a decent job. I don't like 'ghetto' bass, just something to improve the quality of my music.
I also have the gothic 1600w running two cvr12''s in a seales 1.25cu.ft each. Hits hard! and its only half way.
i have another question about competitions, would it be better with a ported box or a sealed box? and do they judge you on db only?
