Second Siren

This might not be new, But I wan wondering anyway...

I have a VIper xxx

I would like to ass a second siren, in the rear of the car.
(Wal-Mart Special...Bulldog, with brains removed.)

i DO NOT have access to the head unit (brains) as it is IN the Dash ( I CAN get it if i HAVE to)
I tried wiring it to the stock siren, but the sound is muffled.

tried 2 ways.

+VE -VE
| |
+ve ~Alarm1~ -ve
| |
+ve ~Alarm2~ -ve

(this produces no sound at all, from either alarm)
(Incase diagram doesnt work...I connected both to same power and ground)

+VE -VE
| |
+ve ~Alarm1~ -ve |
| | |
-ve ~Alarm2~ +ve |
| |
-------------------------------

This produces full sound out of alarm 1, but very little sound ouf of alarm2
(Incase diagram doesnt work...I connected Alarm 1 +ve to PWR, -Ve to alarm2's +ve and Alarm 2's -Ve to GND)

1-Am I changing the Ohmage to each alarm, causing it NOT to work?
2-Is there not enough current to the second alarm, to power it?
3-is there any way to increase the power flow to the second alarm?
4-Can anyone give me a wiring diagram or proper installation?

THanks

I'll add wiring diag later, if people are still confused...

remote turn on would be your siren out on your alarm, fan 1,2,3 etc would be your two siren positives. make sure your sirens are grounded properly too.
