Speaker Templates

Does anyone know where I can get a speaker template for a 12" sub? I have a single 12" subwoofer that I need to make a hole for, and I cannot cut the hole out. I suck at making holes in wood, unless I have the bit on my drill. Are there any websites where you can download the templates? Thanks for the help.

not sure about templates, but you can buy pre-cut mounting rings

Usually, the retail box the subwoofer came in has a template either on it or enclosed with it.

Elemental Designs has some precut rings as well, and may save you a few pennies.

And damn, SP is still around. They were the @!#$ many years ago... until I found US Composites

You can also get a Router Attachment from Part's Express (and other audio stores).

yea SP is still around lol to the OP do yourself a favor get a router and a circle guide makes cutting a circle a lot simplier. Also what kind of sub is it usually if you lose the box you can check on the companies site for the cut specs
