Hey guys, I have a 98 Cavalier with the stock factory CD player... it has an "AUX" button and I wondered what that did?
Is there any kind of aux input on the back of the factory player?
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
The only way to find out is to take the radio out of the dash and see if you have the hook up for an aux cable. The cable type is slipping my mind right now but in "therory" it should allow you to connect aux equpiment up and have it run throught your factory radio. Unfortunelty some factory radios might not work even with the cable connected.
You can spend about 100-200 dollars on a little box that hooks up to your satellite radio port (whatever thats technically called) and has rca inputs to run your ipod or w/e you please
they used the same radio in all chevys. the aux is for a remote tape deck used in some of the trucks. my dads s10 has one in it.
i tried the gm 12 aux and it didnt work. i have a monsoon
My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
did your cd player have a band button?
wow, 63 bucks huh.... I used a tape adapter... less than 10 and does the same thing. Best part about it is I can take it out and use it in my truck too and there isn't the static from crappy FM modulators! Woot!
