Ok.. so here's the deal, lately my interior light has been turning on randomly, I only notice it at night... For the most part it used to only do it after I parked the car, so the damn car would turn the interior light on at some point, and it would just STAY on.
So last night I'm driving home, and EVERY TIME, I stop at a red light, the god damned retarded interior light turns on! And it's odd... it stays on the whole time I'm at a dead stop, then gradually fades out when I start to drive again... as if someone got in the car, closed the door, and does its dimming thing. To be honest, this has got me pretty stumped. I know my switch on my drivers side door is busted--but why would it cause something like this? It just doesn't turn the light on for me anymore when I open the door....
I'm very worried the whole BCM is shot, because these BCMs, well, GM BCMs are known to be giant pieces of crap... any suggestions?

Replace your switch...
The interior rocker is switching on when you come to a stop, and rolls back when you take off.
