Just one question.
Thursday, May 17, 2007 4:50 PM
In a 97 cavalier, base not z24, what is the best place to mount a ground wire for my amp. I have mine mounted to the the top of the back of the truck opening and I just started to get a buzzing sound from my subs, Im guessing its from a bad ground. Just looking for some advice.

get some self tapping screws, and make shure you sand off anny paint in the area.
i used a second nut and put mine on my strut bolts, its hard to get at but its solid.

you explained a good way to do it, then described your own as being completely retarded... i dont get it... kind of a "do as i say, not as i do" kinda thing? lol

you would want your grounds as short as possible, how is running all the way to the top of the strut tower a decent place when u can just drill a hole and sand off the paint?
