Hey guys, those of you with a wall, what have you found the remaining cabin space to have for a peak frequency.
I know every vehicle is different, but looking for a base number to start tuning for.
Didnt want to wall it, but got talked into it by the guys at work.

trunk or wall, mine always seems to be 48-50hz.
Another guy here in town has a cav, his is the same.

I heard he's running Urban Audio Works gear. Lafff, back in the 80's my dad rocked out Kraco 6x9's.
Its gonna be a 15" Spv.2.
Well this is the story of the Spv.2
I originally ordered 2 Spv.2's for my van that I owned.
The plan was to do a non walled SPL/Street beater setup, until I was offered the job here at eD. So I sold one of the SP's to Zeigler on the forum, which last I new has been in roughly 5-8 peoples hands since then. Everyone buying it, then realizing they dont have enough power.
The other SP, was going to be sold to a friend back home. Well 4 months went by, and I didnt see money. So I asked my buddy Chris who was coming to the meet to bring it down to Iowa for me.
So at the meet we decided to see what it would do in Steven's (Regal) CRX with LOTS of power on it. We didnt know what the box size or tuning frequency was. Well needless to say. Steven threw the coil out of the gap and rested it on the top plate. A feat I have never seen.
So after some manipulating and a burnt Ben finger, the coil was back in the gap.
So we decided it was speaker destruction time.
Ramen noodles anyone?
In the words of Kris....Bass Ramen.
Now the fun begins.

9 months later...
The motor was in really bad shape, with grease/ramen/beer/ soot/ and scratches.
But nothing that a Dremel tool cant fix.
I came in on saturday and did some cleaning/ rebuilding.
Overall im very happy with it.
Now for the final touch.
Which dust cap?

Then the silver dust cap.
the new black 15" dust cap does not fit either.
Should have it installed and running by icixmeet time.

It was going to be a single sub, but a decision was made. Bumping it up to 2 16Ov.2 drivers.
Wall assembly should start today.
