yoyoyo heres the dealio...got a pioneer deck running a bazooka 500 watt amp to a 4500 series MTX(12"). yes the lights dim so i installed a 1.0 farad cap. right, thinkin this would take care of the light problem. but now i got more problems. ever since i installed the CAP. i get really bad feedback from EVERYTHING. tap the gas, sends a serge thru the woofer. turn on the domelight...get a serge. and then when i turn everyting off its goes BOOM BOOM and powers down...anyone know what is goin on??? any help would be nice...
THAKNX guys
Sounds like a ground man... Have you tried taking off the cap to see if it does it still? Try re-grounding it first.
Toss the cap and do the big three, there's a sticky at the top of this forum.

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
def. sounds like a bad ground to me...aloso make sure you don;t run your rcas up right besdie your power wire you can get engine noise from that ...also do the big three for the dimming
Yea, I had a cap before and the lights used to dim really bad, back when I was less informed about such things.
For LESS than the cap costed I upgraded the big 3 on my car, (I ran bigger power cable, not sure I needed to) and the system and whole car is running nice, minimal dimming.
Id say, make sure you have a good ground contact, I used a seatbelt bolt (used a wire wheel to remove the paint on the stud). and upgrade the big 3 on the car, keep the cap if you must but you wont need it. (I might reinstall mine for Giggles).
Good Luck!
if all else fails, a ground loop isolator will fix that..
