So today during my construction class were using the radio in my car to listen to music. all of a sudden someone yels fire. well. there was no fire. but what i found was that my WHOLE dash wiring harness is melted. it started at my cigerette ligheter plug (nothing was plugged in to it) and it melted and shorted EVERYTHING out. i dont know what happend. but. i have a 96 cav with a 2.2 auto. what years dash harness will fit in my car?? thanks alot.

I had a similar thing happen to me, Started the back seat on fire.

wow, thats odd... i woulda thought it would have blown a fuse before melting the entire harness...
