I am looking to buy a new deck to replace the factory deck and was just looking for some opinions on this Pioneer deck DEH-P6800MP. I have read in a few reviews that the blue lighting does dim but not the blue lighting for the buttons and at night its kinda hard on the eyes so if anyone does have this deck does it seem bright?
I know this is last years model but its still in most of the stores and is on sale. Thanks for any advice!

i have a Pioneer 7700 and i love it. i do not think its too bright at all..i have two neons under my dash and i think the light coming from the deck is almost the same. you can def see it thru my tinted window (35 but it is not too bright. a good choice in deck if i may add

Unfortunately your correct, it is kinda bright at night. My eyes are no so sensitive so it doesn't bother me too much. Turn off the deck and your surrounded in darkness. Overall its a great deck, sound is great and it has a eq for tuning..

i love mine and im pretty sure there is a brightness control.
