I have a Pioneer DEH-P7700MP head unit and I know it has pretty good equalizer settings already but I was kinda looking into getting a graphic equalizer. I would like to hear any opinions on brands, types etc.

Kenwood makes some nice ones, and so does Alpine if you can find 'em. Check eBay. I've got a Kenwood that really helps when switching between styles of music, cause you can adjust levels pretty easy without having to scroll through the headunit settings if need be. I'm hoping that by the time i finish building my new system, I won't need the EQ anymore though.

I've got a trunk-mount jbl 22 channel deal. I like it long time.
i have a pioneer unit. 7 band i think with some pretty cool features on it. i tunk mounted the deal and use it as my crossover before going into my amp. works quite nicely.

where would you all recommend picking one up? i'd like to get one with around 20 band adjustment or so for extremely fine tuning.
