looks like clarion is helping me out this year and im going with a 7" lcd headunit touchscreen etc. etc. anyone have a similar unit mounted in their dash. this isnt a flipout. this is a flush type screen. i wont have the unit for a couple weeks and just wondering what modification will need done to the dash if any.

most likely you will jsut have to cut out the plastic cage and sand down the bezel, it should be fine.

well the Kenwood 6.95" Double Din headunits fit in the FACTORY OPENING of the 00+ J Bodies. I am going to go out on a limb here and guess the Clarion is the same way.

So as long as you have a 00+ Dash Bezel in your gire (not sure what year you have) you'll be good. The Metra 99-2003 Dash Kit has brackets in it for the double din to be ISO mounted.

im hoping thast the case (its an 01) i just had the interior repainted and although i have a spare dash piece i can mod i'd rather do it later on down the line lol
