I am currently getting ready to start a custom box setup kind of project, with the back seat removed, leveling that with a wooden floor design, followed by a slanted box deal covering the upper part of the back seat and boxing off in the trunk. I will get pics of the progress for the photo forum when I get started.

My question is this, will I lose any sound from my subs not facing the back of the trunk with the new enclosure, or will it sound like crap?

If you totally seal off the trunk, you should be alright. If not, you'll get something called cancellation, which slightly plagues the jeffrey.

thats somewhat what im doing like said if you seal your back deck and around the box you will be louder and to me sound alot better.

I am about to start sealing edges and things, Such as I have the faceplate (speaker cutouts) and I am not sure on what to secure it down with, but I have sealed the inside of the box all corners of the chambers and things, I will add pics tomorrow, but I need to know how to secure the large faceplate down so that it doesnt move around.

you'll need to seal up your rear deck, all around your box, inside your rear quarter panels too
