Anyone ever thinking of hiding the tweeters in the out A/C vents? Would they be to far awaty from the mids if located in stock speaker location? Just a thought
The distance between the drivers and passenger side would be too different. The sound would be unbalanced.
Try to keep the tweeters as far as you can from the listeners, while staying withing ~6" of the midwoofer. (Unless you're willing to design them for reverse polarity, big pain)
The only problem with those is that you won't have a good soundstage. If you don't mind the way the speakers sound in the door, you won't mind how they sound there.
