Here is the deal, today I got into my car while driving to work, I wasn't playing the system loud at all and I could hear a constant rumble from my sub, so I turned up the music a bit and it was like it was all sub and it wasnt following the beat or frequency of the music at all. so I took out the cd I was listening to and it was the same with just the radio. the only way to get the rumble to stop was to turn off the head unit off or turn off the car. It was running fine yesterday. so I opened the trunk and the rumble stoped and I could turn up the volume a bit and there was no constant bass. but right once I shut the trunk.....constant bass was back. I check the setting on the amp to see if they were off, but there haven't changed?
I am running a JVC head unit and Phoenix amp and 12" sub. It was also professionally about 1 year ago...
Any suggestions would be a great help......
Thanks
Check your ground connections, they are most likely loose
