Does anyone know what the adapter model is to put a ipod on a panasonic cq7301u radio? if anyone could help me out that would be great.

Thanks everyone but that one will not work. the end that goes into the unit on that adapter is square as where the back of the unit is round. thanks though.

I had the same problem dude, except I was trying to hook up the Sirius radio tuner. I found that the plug in the back of my deck is round, but the plug on the tuner was square. I asked someone at Panasonic and they told me they changed their plugs....which I don't believe but whatever. She told me I had to buy this other box to hook into the back of my deck, and then I could plug an Ipod or satellite radio/cd changer in it. I will see if I can find a link.

Yes, the new Panasonic decks have a square plug, where older units have round. Check and make sure your deck is iPod ready, I don't remember the ones last year having an iPod adaptor. The expansion box is only for if you want to hook up more than one thing to the plug in the back, so that won't help you either.
