I'd say replace it. I've seen many Delco's die. If you want, just find a double din GM class 2 radio off ebay, any one from Chevy or pontiac will fit. You can get 'em cheap and then you just gotta run it to the dealer have 'em reprogram it for yah. My dealer did it for free but they usually cost like $35, still cheaper than getting that special wiring harness our cars require.

It's pretty easy. Just open up the glove box and remove the 2 screws on the left side. You'll need a short, stubby screwdriver -- otherwise you'll have to remove the glovebox door.

kinda time consuming but generally pretty easy. First remove the plastic panels on each side of the dash covers between the doors. theres one botl on each side, remove both of them. Then remove the one screw from the defogger vent, and under neath it, remove the 2 bolts. Then theres 3 bolts in the glovebox. After that its just clips, so just pry it up slowly and pop it all loose, then theres 3 bolts that hold the bezel on. Remove those, and then lightly pull it off to pop it off its plastic clips.

That only works on a Sunfire... BTW, you can push the glove box door stop out of the slot, so you can open the door further instead of having to remove the door.

Cavalier, you have to take the dash top pad off, and then remove the bezel around the radio/heater controls/dash.

Ya know, when I was reading the instructions that came with my mounting kit, it talked about having to remove all of that stuff, and I sat there scratching my head thinking what? All I see are these 2 screws. That explains it... different in the SF

ok well I've got pretty much the same problem except i have an o1 and i live in new york where it is still pretty cold and the thing is it wont work when its cold it just sits there and spins the Cd rather loud i must say then says err like his and spits it back out but if its warm or i have been driving for a while and have had the heat on my feet so the heat rises up under the radio and its warm the Cd will play most of the time dose anybody have any ideas what i can do and no i don't want to go aftermarket because this is just my winter/daily driver while my 89 z24 is getting some love because thats where my system will be when i get the rest of my work done on it.
