spectrum analyzer - i think that's what they're called (EQ thingy)

Hey,
Im trying to find a spectrum analyzer that I could put into my car. The things that show the frequencies and then the level that they are at. You've all seen um before. I'm trying to find one that I could put in my car and I haven't had any luck. Anybody know of any place to check other than eBay (alerady looked).

Thanks

-Seth

Real Time Analyzer? Or RTA for short. I have one I use to level set, but it technically belongs to my work It's a rack-mount piece so it wouldn't really fit in the car...

Ya, basically.
Ya, i'm finding that the majority are rack mount, unfortunately.

Once you set your EQ's, you don't need it in the car anymore. Like the commercial says... "Set it and forget it"

I doubt this is what you want, but Pioneer makes a deck with one built in.

Are you looking for the small 1/2 din or 1/4 din ones that sit under your stereo like the ol' EQ's, or a larger one?

Ya, I'm looking for one that would be like 1/2 din or even 1 din.

Not exactly. Im looking for one that just has the analyzer so it'd be like a line of light kinda.

I just use TrueRTA. Not sure why you'd want to waste the space in your car...

i think finidng an expenssive HU with one built in is your best choice

My car may run 18s, but I can do your taxes in 10 seconds flat.
JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again

Not sure if it would be overkill for you or not, but I see you are an Alpine fan. I'm running an IVA D310 with the PXA-H701surround processor and RUX-C701 controller. The controller has a very nice blue display that will display a spectrum analyser and also allows automatic EQ /time correction. I don't have the RUX installed yet, but I'm putting it overhead, it will serve as a preamp/ volume control for the system.

Ya, i'm an alpine whore, lol.
I wish I could do that but I have the headunit I want and the D310 is a little out of my price range.
