Hey, got me an idea.

For the past few days I've been putting a lot of thought and planning in my sound system and the aesthetics of my car. I just thought of the perfect thing though. I can put some actuators behind my back seat (Cavalier 4 door with collapsable back seat) and install my future amp on the back of my back seat and put some light and such in there and I got me one baddass lookin system. Thing is, that dream is still a few months away. -sigh- Ohwell.

Hate to break it to ya but just about everybody and their mother does that for the first time.
I mean it works really good but its nothing too original.

The actuators would be original but have you priced actuators. They're pretty expensive.

Just lettin ya know.

Yea, I kind of know that it's not original. Especially the back seat mounted amp, a friend from work told me about that, but my major thing is the actuaters. Yea, they are kind of pricy, 200s for a 12 inch, I'll probably only need a 6" though since they can hold like 140 pounds and stuff, then if I go two, then I can get the weak ones for even less money. But how I see it is the presentation is key over everything else. So that plus some lights (blue and UV), some flourescent cable shrinks and I've set. And the best thing about shooting for high cost stuff like that is that I won't be bored until I finish it in a year or so. lol.

well it will be something you dont see allot of, just do a good job. most ones that i have seen have just used a single actuater on one side

I thought about it, then I thought about the money involved and said the hell with it.

I figured I'd make this my idea thread, eventhough most of these are already thought of. lol. So anyway, I thought about something else too. Putting led lights on some part of the window glass for all 4 windows to give it an optical luminescence effect. But i think it will only be visible when the window is rolled down as it will only light up the top edge of the window. Still, a good idea none the less.
